EasyAd Grows Up? A Serious Look At Small Business Growth

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Even though Dylan Thomas wasn’t talking about the struggles of the Small Business, it can certainly feel like it sometimes.

One of the biggest mistakes young companies make, is to build in an inherent dependence upon its owner.  After-all, everything would fall apart if you weren’t there to fix it, right?

Wrong.  Truth be told, if your business requires you to be present in order to operate, you don’t really have a business at all.

EasyAd is presently transitioning itself from ‘adolescent start-up’, into a mature software company.  Change is never easy, but it is the pressure building from the exciting conflict between the safety and order of old, and the unpredictable, risky tomorrow,  that gives birth to growth and innovation.

Today, the technician, turned entrepreneur, seeks his protege.  One to take the carefully crafted poetry of code, cultivated over many years into a powerfully elegant machine, and make it his own.

EasyAd LLC is looking for a young, talented, local C#/ASP.NET (SQL) developer to join our team.  Must eat, sleep and dream in decoupled, interface based object oriented code.  Must have solid understanding of

  1. network based programming,
  2. web services,
  3. follow well defined design patterns (GoF)
  4. experience developing and deploying desktop applications via Visual Studio 2k5 and .NET Framework 2+
  5. MS SQL Server 2k5
